Welcome To Aryan Mohammadi Pasikhani Website
If I am supposed to retrospect in my life to represent my intention of getting so far in computer science, I will pinpoint my childhood when I was a curious kid searching for enigmas. I should admit that my elder brother's antediluvian PC played a vital role in attracting me to this field of science. Frankly, programming in Pascal was sort of entertainment for me those years. Growing elder made me more focused on the PC, and I was mesmerised by its ability to do things without dissipating physical energy. Years after dabbling with this unique instrument, high school was my first encounter with computer lessons i.e. Windows 2000 and C++. It enhanced my resolution to continue my education in computer science.
As my knowledge got more robust in the university, I gradually realised more thirst in this field. In my junior years of bachelor study, I attended many extra courses out of the university, including MCITP courses in AMIRCHOOPANI institute, CCNA and SQL design in KAHKESHAN institute and C# and ASP programming courses in EBNESINA technical institute. Moreover, to not to fall behind in the experiences, while I was studying my bachelor programme, I tried to handle practical jobs as a web developer in the HESABRASA accounting company and as a Network administrator in SANGSIMANSAZEH construction company, from the years 2008 to 2010 and 2011 to 2012 respectively. As soon as getting graduated from the university, I found out that if I want my knowledge to be more efficacious, I need more study on this emerging science; hence, without hesitation, I applied for master of software engineering programme in the National University of Malaysia (UKM). During my master study, I got the opportunity to investigate Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) under the supervision of Prof Elankovan which in turn, led us to publish a paper in a well-known journal.
After graduating from UKM, I had the same feeling that I got after taking my bachelor’s degree, but in a more mature way. As the year's pass, I thought my eagerness for computer science had not got satiated yet which made me admit that my research life has not reached to its end. Meanwhile, I had an opportunity to have an interview with Prof John Clark who is eminent in the field of Cyber Security. After demonstrating my PhD proposal to Prof Clark, he accept that I study my PhD under his supervision in the Sheffild University, United Kingdom. Now, I'm a PhD Candidate under the supervision of Prof John Clark in the Security of Advanced Systems Research Group at the University of Sheffield.
